Your Information And Privacy

Updated 13 October 2026. This policy covers the Simplified Seven shared account, Balance by S7, finance dashboard, single-goal blueprint requests and the local Purchase Vault.

What We Save

We save your account identifier, name and email to recognise your account. Balance by S7 also saves the profile name you choose, exercises, units, conversion rates, targets and activity you log. Tasks include areas, periods, targets, reported amounts and statuses, and optional notes. Imported history may retain original reports and earlier updates. Confirmed imported activity can be represented as dated entries and contribute points through the applicable conversion rates. Weekly totals use the reporting-week Saturday convention; broader-period remainders are labelled summaries so overlapping amounts are not counted twice.

How It Is Protected

Google Firebase handles sign-in and cloud storage. Connections use HTTPS. For questions about saved information, open Help & FAQs.

Google handles your Google password; Simplified Seven never sees it. Email passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are not saved as plain text by the website.

How We Use It

We use your information to sign you in, restore your profile and synchronise Balance by S7 progress across your devices. The shared account and Balance by S7 have no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Service Providers

Google Firebase provides authentication and database storage, and Cloudflare serves the website. Service providers may retain technical records such as IP addresses, security logs or backups under their policies. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Your Choices

In Balance by S7, open Settings then Account options to export your data or permanently delete your account and saved activity, including tasks and imported history. Signing out preserves your cloud records for your next visit. Sign out on shared devices.

Finance Dashboard

Unapplied edits stay in page memory. Once you review and apply dashboard changes, they autosave to your signed-in S7 account. Failed or conflicting saves remain visible and the unsaved draft stays in this tab. Google Firebase stores your reviewed goal costs and dates, starting goal inputs (current and retirement ages, monthly expenses, target year, loan choice and existing savings), inflation and return assumptions, holdings names, ISINs, values, reported purchase cost when known, dates, availability and categories, goal allocations, financial profile and readiness information, and up to 24 snapshots. No adviser-sharing feature is provided.

Imported PDFs are processed on your device. The raw file, PDF password, PAN, folio and account numbers are not retained or uploaded. Finance JSON and blueprint PDF exports are generated on your device. Missing investment purchase cost is kept unknown and is not inferred. Saved finance data is included in existing account export and deletion controls; deleting your account also removes the saved finance blueprint. Contact the privacy email below for assistance.

Your optional profile photo is resized and source metadata removed on your device. Choosing to save the reviewed photo stores a JPEG thumbnail with your S7 account for reuse across devices. S7 administrators can access saved account data. You choose whether to include the photo in each blueprint PDF and can replace or remove the saved thumbnail. Finance JSON exports exclude the photo by default.

Loved ones and My Legacy Blueprint save the names, relationships, optional addresses and minor status you enter, asset ownership and nominee references, executor and guardian choices, and your inheritance scenarios and instructions with your S7 account. Normal access belongs to your signed-in account; privileged S7 administrators can access these records. This is S7 shared Firebase storage, not your own Google Drive. Nominee entries here do not register or change nominations with an institution.

Finance JSON exports exclude the separate photo and Legacy records. The shared account export has independent, unchecked choices for including each; these choices reset when the account changes. Account deletion removes both separate documents before other records and stops if either removal fails. Generated PDFs stay on your device unless you choose to share them. Suggested earmarking changes your draft only after review; applied dashboard changes autosave. Failed or conflicting saves remain visible. Raw portfolio PDFs and passwords are not saved.

The guided goal chat uses fixed questions and preset choices on your device. It does not send conversations to an external AI service. Only goals you review and choose to create are added to the blueprint and autosaved. Unfinished chat answers are cleared when the chat closes or your account changes.

Single-Goal Blueprint Requests

When you submit a single-goal request on S7, Cloudflare processes your answers and forwards them to S7’s Google-based blueprint service. Your name, email, WhatsApp number, goal information, financial answers, readiness responses, optional notes and follow-up preferences are stored in the existing S7 response spreadsheet. The service generates a blueprint PDF in Google Drive and sends it with your contact details to the S7 owner inbox for delivery and follow-up.

When signed in, continuing past the readiness questions saves your six preparedness answers to your shared S7 account. Future single-goal blueprints reuse them, including complete answers already saved in your multi-goal blueprint. You can update them from the blueprint workspace. These saved readiness answers are included in account export and deletion controls. Goal and contact details from this form are not saved to your shared account. Request records and generated PDFs are separate from account data, so account deletion does not automatically remove them. Contact the privacy email below for access or deletion assistance. The website confirms receipt with a random reference and does not return your financial answers or a public Drive link.

Local Billy By S7

Billy stores purchase details and attached PDF or image bills in this browser on this device. After sign-in, purchase record details can also sync to the shared S7 account while attached bill files stay local unless exported. English text recognition and PDF reading run locally using bundled software; bills and recognized text are not sent to S7 or an external AI service. Suggestions remain editable and require review. Records and new attachments are saved together. The prior local text-record copy is retained during migration.

Backup exports include purchase details, bills and recoverable trash. Keep backups safe. Import merges records by ID. Clearing browser storage can remove local records and documents; local storage is not encrypted against someone using the same browser profile. Online and downloaded copies have separate storage. After sign-in, Billy record details can sync to your S7 account; attached bill files remain local unless you export a backup. Automated reminders and verified support contacts remain planned.

Other S7 Services

The public finance pages link to Google Forms, Google Drive and WhatsApp. Those services have their own sign-in, data collection and provider policies. A shared S7 account does not automatically connect or move information from those services.
