Install On Your Phone.
- Download the Android app and open the APK file on your phone.
- Review Android's installation prompt. If your phone requires it, allow installation from the browser or file app you used to download it.
- Open Timely, choose a repeat interval and use the app's wallpaper preview/apply control.
- Use your phone's wallpaper picker to apply it. Lock-screen availability depends on the phone.
Requires Android 6 or later with live-wallpaper support and an updated Android System WebView. Repeating clocks and custom sessions use the same controls in the web and Android companion app. Gentle, Balanced and Strong pacing levels vary their exact speeds randomly. The pacing direction can stay always ahead or swing between lagging and leading. It changes the wallpaper's displayed time, not your system/status-bar time or alarms.
Using the app and wallpaper
The app works offline and stores settings on your phone. Open Clock settings to choose an interval, pacing level and clock format. Choose Edit position, then use the sliders or drag the preview. Choose Done to lock the position, then choose Set as wallpaper.
Your phone determines whether a live wallpaper can be used on the home screen, lock screen or both. Website and Android preferences are separate.
